Our story
One thing about Aunt Bee's place is that we are family friendly and care a lot about people. The way Aunt Bee's place became Aunt Bee's was through the nickname I was given by my nieces. As I worked to make my products I couldn't help but think of the family friendly environment I wanted to make, and what's friendlier than Aunt Bee's. My goal is to always provide a variety of items that are made with all-natural products. Products that are free of dyes, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. I wanted to make something safe for everyone to use in their homes. When we adopted my dog Puddles he came with a lot of challenges, but one challenge we weren't expecting was his many allergies and skin problems. I found out after a scare with Puddles that the products we were using to clean the house, wash the laundry, and even to freshen the air were to blame for Puddles adverse reactions. That only motivated me more to make something that could help others and Puddles live more comfortably with products that are all-natural and don't use harsh chemicals.
Our history
I was just diagnosed for the second time with cancer when I had to quit working. We relied on my husband's income only and that meant cutting costs in a lot of ways. I had a lot of time on my hands and started doing a lot of research on making my own laundry detergent. We used a 5-gallon bucket of detergent in 6 months which cut costs tremendously. I loved it so much I had to tell my family and friends about it, and they offered to pay me for the labor and costs. As I made things for our dog Puddles to live more comfortably and allergy free, I started to give the products to my friends and family. Everyone was so happy to have clean laundry, and a fresh smelling house. After a while I found a job and even decided to share my products with friends and co-workers. Everyone was so surprised with the results of my products, and the rest is history.
